Photo by Ashley Fraser / Postmedia Article content The second event off the start line for Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend on Saturday afternoon was the all-ages 2K race. Trenton’s Kyle Legere was the first male runner to finish with his time of 7:31, 11 seconds ahead of both Casselman’s J.J.
Parsonage and Ottawa’s Barry Smith. Article content First among women in the 2K event was Maëlle Goulet-Dufort of Laval, Que., in a time of 8:15.
Second was Valérie Côté of Saint-Christophe-d’Arthabaska, Que., in 8:52. Among non-binary runners, Rachel Manderfield of Mississippi Mills led with a time of 13:24.
