People are being invited to share their first-hand experiences of receiving care at Royal Bolton Hospital ’s Emergency Department. A series of new ‘Emergency Department Patient Forums’ will provide a space for people to talk about what their care, or care of a loved one, was like and to identify what worked well and what could be improved. The forums will aim to find new ways of working so that doctors and nurses can provide the best possible care and to learn from the experiences of patients.
This comes as the emergency department has faced pressures as the services continue to busy with some patients receiving care on the ‘corridor’.
