RAVE to a young man who lives somewhere in my neighborhood who appeared with a strong, gas-powered lawn mower and cut all the very tall, unruly grass in my front yard and parking strip. He made such a difference. I am disabled and have been having difficulty getting the grass cut, so he was a tremendous help.

This is a plea from a hearing-impaired person: Don’t use AI for CC. It’s doing the job very poorly. I have seen bloopers no human who’s ever read a book would make.
I get that the news and live sports can’t edit on the fly, but why do the producers of television series and movies let these errors slip by? It feels ableist that they either don’t know or care..
