RANT to a crammed mailbox. I get my mail from a post office box. This box is very close to special boxes that are used for larger items.

What I find is that the postal workers just keep stuffing the mail into my mailbox from their side. Remember, the opening on their side is larger. When the customer comes to retrieve their mail, it can sometimes be a real problem.



Sometimes large envelopes are folded in half. Other times a plastic bag holding meds is just jammed in any old way. When they see so much in one box, why can’t they transfer to one of those special boxes I mentioned? RAVE and thanks to King County for public awareness about poison hemlock.

I saw plants fitting the description on Soos Creek Trail. A responsive King County employee took a photo the other day and I feel assured it will be removed if it is the extremely toxic plant. King County has info on their site.

Looks like Queen Anne’s lace, chervil or cow parsley. Thank you for posting this warning, the stuff is really nasty. The employee we met had just received training on it and we both felt the two clumps we saw, accessible to kids, dogs and horses, were the real deal.
