RAVE to the Seattle Department of Transportation and the mayor for their efforts at Constellation Park to improve safety and provide more access to pedestrians, bikes, skateboarders and other human-powered wheeled recreation. Three years of design work and community outreach have resulted in a compromise that provides new ADA parking spaces and a new dedicated rolling/walking lane. There is still parking for buses and access for the Seal Sitters is as good as at any other beachside park! Well done SDOT! RANT AND RAVE Rant to people who use rented bikes and scooters.

I’ve seen folks hop off them in the middle of a crowded sidewalk and just leave them there. Please place them near the curb and away from ramps. Rave to the downtown ambassadors who put the rented bikes and scooters in their proper place nearest the curb.
