Karen Ann, a well known nurse who worked at Lurgan Hospital, died yesterday aged 56. Just two years ago her husband Darryl, a wildlife and nature presenter as well as journalist, died after a period of illness. The couple are survived by their two daughters Kirsten and Erin.

Just in April this year Karen’s brother-in-law Stephen Grimason died aged 67 after a long illness. The former BBC News NI political editor broke the news of the 1998 Good Friday Agreement.

She was the dearly loved wife of the late Darryl, adored mother of Kirsten and Erin, loving mother-in-law of Dylan, precious daughter of Tom and Ann and dear sister of Jonathan and Wendy.
