Residents have been asked to take part in a consultation about new electric vehicle chargepoints. West Sussex County Council has formed a list of proposed locations for the new roadside chargepoints. The locations have been selected for various reasons including requests from members of the public, limited off-road parking and a lack of nearby public chargepoints.

They have also been given details about the four-week consultation which will run until June 21. The proposed locations set out by the council are: Keymer Road, Hassocks Slimbridge Road, Burgess Hill Northlands Avenue, near Walstead Paddockhall Road, Haywards Heath Hamsland, Horsted Keynes, near Lindfield St Leonard's Road, Horsham Cambridge Road, Horsham Devonshire Road, Horsham Manor Road, Horsham Rillside, Crawley Gainsborough Road, Crawley Tilgate Parade, Crawley Ashdown Drive, Crawley Whittington Road, Crawley Buckswood Drive, Crawley Cuckmere Crescent, Crawley Tangmere Road, Crawley Langley Drive, Crawley People can have their say at https://yourvoice.

Councillor Joy Dennis, West Sussex County Council cabinet member for highways and transport, said: "We know in the coming years more and more people will be making the move towards electric vehicles. "So, it’s important to act now to ensure we’re able to support our reside.
