The Gatineau Police Service said officers were called to the collision at the intersection of Boulevard de la Cité and Boulevard de l’Hôpital just before 1:45 p.m.
Maloney Boulevard West eastbound was closed between de la Cité and de l’Hôpital for the investigation. Depending on the progress in the investigation, a complete closure of Maloney in both directions between de l’Hôpital and de la Cité could be necessary, police added in a late-afternoon news release.
