There is good news for four of Bolton’s eateries as they are awarded high marks in recent food hygiene inspections, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows. Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety, inspectors have rated three eateries a four out of five, and one eatery a three out of five hygiene rating. A Bolton restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Dolce Gelato (Image: Google Maps) Dolce Gelato, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 313 Plodder Lane, Farnworth , was given the score after assessment on May 1, the Food Standards Agency's website shows. The inspection report states both the management of food safety, and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are good whilst the hygienic food handling is generally satisfactory. New food hygiene ratings of four out of five have also been awarded to two of Bolton’s restaurants, cafes or canteens.
