The first phase of the NI Water pipelaying work will involve the installation of 860m of large diameter sewer and the construction of associated manholes on Belfast Road between Lower Woodburn Woodburn Wastewater Pumping Station (beside the Go Station) and the junction of Sloefield Drive. A spokesperson for NI Water explained: “To carry out the work as safely as possible and protect construction workers and the public, it will be necessary to have traffic management in place on the approach to and around the working area. "The required traffic management will include a lane closure in both directions on Belfast Road and a reduced speed limit, which will be reduced from 40mph to 30mph. "Traffic management will be in place from Saturday 29th June to facilitate the delivery of machinery and materials, with pipelaying getting underway on Monday 1st July.
