As Cleethorpes gears up for Armed Forces Weekend, it has been confirmed there will be "more public toilets than ever" available to use - not just for the event but also for the upcoming summer holiday season. Ahead of a new development that includes permanent toilet facilities, 23 portable toilets - including two for disabled users - are being installed in Cleethorpes this Thursday, North East Lincolnshire Council has said. These facilities will be available throughout the summer and are set to be a welcome addition to the resort's biggest event of the year next weekend.

Local company Lincs Loos will provide these facilities and will also handle their daily maintenance and cleaning. The toilets will be located in Pier Gardens, near the old toilet block on Sea Road.
