JLGutierrez Mangoceuticals ( NASDAQ: MGRX ) stock jumped 17% in post-market trading Tuesday after the company said it had received a patent notice of allowance in Japan for a proprietary formulation and application methods designed to combat a wide range of infections, including HPV and respiratory diseases. The drug and wellness products developer said the patented technology is aimed at preventing illnesses acquired through the oral cavity using an orally available solution. The patent was originally applied for by Intramont Technologies.
Mangoceuticals, also known as MangoRx, recently acquired Intramont's patent portfolio, including a US patent for the technology.
