A Grimsby man who has witnessed the "devastation" caused by cancer and wanted to give something back is gearing up to host a charity darts day in aid of Macmillan. Josh Heath, 23, has spent months organising the Family Charity Darts Day, a family-friendly Darts tournament at The Honest Lawyer pub in Grimsby on Sunday, May 26, which will include a range of other fun activities throughout the day, with all proceeds going to a very worthy cause. For a minimum donation of £5, each entrant can choose their own nickname and song to walk out to, as well as being in with the chance of winning a prize if they're good enough a darts player to place first or second in the tournament.

Speaking to Grimsby Live , Josh said: "My great uncle died of cancer recently and my fiancée's nan has it. My best friend Tom's dad also passed away a couple of months ago, and he was a massive fan of Darts.
Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer so I felt it was a good cause for everyone, and I've not been much of a charitable person before so I wanted to do something. Josh decided to organise the event to give something back (Image: Josh Heat.
