The man was arrested on Wednesday, June 26, in relation to a data breach on August 8, 2023, when information on police officers and staff in Northern Ireland, were published in error on the internet. The data was made public, in error, by police as they responded to a routine freedom of information (FoI) request. The investigation continues.
