Two lanes are closed following a crash on the A14 today (Tuesday, May 28). A lorry swerved onto the embankment on the westbound carriageway between Swavesey and Godmanchester this morning - with lanes still shut to traffic as a result. Miles of congestion are reported as a result of the closures.
A National Highways spokesperson said: "Delays of around 3 miles, due to lanes 1 and 2 (out of 3) closed following a road traffic collision. Please allow extra time for your journey" Inrix, the traffic data company, said: "Two lanes closed and very slow traffic due to mud on road and earlier accident on A14 Westbound from J24b (Swavesey) to J23 A1198 (Godmanchester).
