A small community group near Thames is making some noise in the Coromandel . Kauaeranga Music, run by longstanding Kauaeranga Valley residents Peter and Keri Revell, hosts regular musical events at the Kauearanga Hall. The hall is a former school building, originally constructed in 1902 by the settlers in the valley and leased to the Department of Education as a school until 1944, Peter said.
