A day after assuming office as the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, JP Nadda (also the sitting President of Bharatiya Janata Party) attended a meeting with top officials of the ministry to discuss a 100-days plan of the MoHFW on June 14. The 100-day plan includes the launch of the National Health Claims Exchange (NHCX), a special drive against ‘tobacco’ use, especially among young and adolescents, a national campaign against NCDs (Non-communicable diseases), and the deployment of Arogya Maitri Disaster Management Cube-BHISHM, (revolutionary mobile hospitals equipped with cutting-edge technology) and U- WIN portal for felicitation of registration of immunization for children. Earlier, on Tuesday, Jagat Prakash Nadda assumed charge as Minister of Health and Family Welfare in the national capital.
Nadda was accompanied by Anupriya Patel and Jadhav Prataprao Ganpatrao, Ministers of State in the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry. After taking charge as Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Nadda took it to X and wrote, “Honoured to take charge as Minister of Health and Family Welfare under the esteemed guidance of Hon.
