SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) — ABC4 and Utah’s CW30 are teaming up with dozens of medical and non-profit organizations to make sure the whole family is healthy before school starts back up with the Good4Utah Family Health Fair on Saturday, Aug. 3. The event will take place at the ABC4 Studios, 2175 W.
1700 South in Salt Lake City from 10 a.m. to 5 p.
m. The free health fair will give Utahns of all ages a chance to make sure they’re at their healthiest with back-to-school vaccinations and specialized health screenings available, like mammograms and vision screenings. You can also donate blood.
“Early detection is crucial in fighting so many illnesses and diseases, so we wanted to create an event where our viewers and readers could access that for free,” said ABC4 News Director Nancy Bauer. “And for families, that isn’t always easy to achieve. So we’re doing it in our own backyard, so to speak.
” ABC4 has already partnered with a number of vendors and exhibitors, including: University of Utah’s Wellness Bus The Boob Bus University of Utah’s Huntsman Cancer Institute Mammography bus Salt Lake County Health’s Immunization Department Moran Eye Center American Red Cross Mobile Blood Donation Center More vendors are being added through the month of July, so check back to see what we’ve added.
