The summer food program, nationally known as “Meet Up and Eat Up,” has partnered with local organizations and school districts and has added additional sites to serve more children in rural areas. Throughout Michigan, the Meet Up and Eat Up program targets children ages 18 and under with access to free, healthy summer meals. Not only are meals free, they follow USDA federal nutritional guidelines.
No application is required, no registration is needed, and no proof of residency is asked for and meals are intended to be consumed on-site. For a map of locations: https://www.mcgi.
