A fitness expert has explained simple ways we could all be burning fat at home after a recent health survey for England estimated that 25.9% of adults are obese, and a further 37.9% are overweight.

Burpees Burpees are often a personal trainer's favourite exercise, and it’s not hard to understand why. And that’s because they’re a full-body exercise that combine cardio and strength training, making them extremely effective for burning calories and fat. What makes burpees even more appealing is that they’re so simple to do and you don’t even need any equipment.

Simply start in a standing position and drop into a squat with your hands on the ground. Once you have done that, kick your feet back into a plank position and perform a press-up. Then you need to return your feet to the squat position before explosively jumping into the air, reaching your arms overhead.

Mountain Climbers Another great exercise for burning fat is mountain climbers. They’re a really high-intensity cardio exercise that also engages your core, shoulders, and legs, promoting fat loss and cardiovascular endurance.
