The artist behind the recent divisive portrait of King Charles has unveiled his latest subject - Sir David Attenborough . The artwork was painted in a similar style to Charles ’ official potrait, but Yeo chose shades of green to capture the broadcasting icon, saying he hoped to capture Attenborough’s “wisdom and thoughtfulness” as well as his “infectious enthusiasm”. The painting was commissioned by the Royal Society, and revealed just a month after his striking red portrait of King Charles.
Yeo told the outlet that the response to that portrait had been “bonkers”..
