He was cycling southbound on the A1301 when he was involved in a crash with a car. The car was a grey Citroen DS3 coming in the opposite direction.

The crash happened shortly after 7pm. The 33-year-old man from Sawston was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, with life-threatening injuries. He is still in a critical condition.
