A community interest firm is asking employers to sign a pledge to mark Learning Disability Week (June 17 - 23). Bridge Creative in Bishop Auckland requested employers make a commitment to promise a 'change in thinking' on inclusive workplaces. Their campaign, 'We See You', asks employers to introduce inclusive recruitment and retention procedures in support of adults with learning difficulties or neurodivergency.

Ben Tinkler, managing director of Bridge Creative, said: "Creating an inclusive workplace should never be a box-ticking exercise or empty social media campaign. "It’s about genuinely making changes to ensure that everyone feels able to bring their best self to work."
