A much-loved board game lounge is closing this week due to rising costs. Dice in Worthing is due to close on July 20 after over two years of trading. Dozens of people expressed their sadness after hearing the news - and some of them said they were devastated.

Taking to the Dice Facebook page, Helen Johnson wrote: “Every time we have been in there, everyone has been so lovely and welcoming and it is such a tragic loss to the town. “It was also lovely seeing so many people having fun together and not being glued to their phones, a rarity these days. Dice Worthing is situated on Chandos Road (Image: Google) “We’re hoping to come down one last time before you go, but would like to wish you all the very best for the future.

“We have not taken this decision lightly, but unfortunately it has not quite worked out for us due to increasing costs and a tough trading environment. “We remain open for you to play or buy games, food and drink until.
