The rankings, by The Happy City Index placed the historic city 179th out of 250 cities, earning it a spot on the bronze list..

Other UK ‘bronze cities’ include Milton Keynes, Southampton, Oxford and Glasgow, which all outrank Cambridge. Liverpool and Leeds are also on the bronze list below Cambridge, ranking 185th and 1.
