A nursery where parents want their children to "stay forever" has been rated outstanding in its first ever Ofsted inspection. Bloomsbury Street Day Nursery in Bloomsbury Street, Brighton, was praised by inspectors for providing top-quality care and education . In the report, inspectors said that children settle "exceptionally well" and "make excellent bonds with staff".

Ofsted also reported that the children at the nursery are taught to be independent from an early age, enabling them to learn how to do certain activities themselves. The children are also guided well by staff who are described as "very nurturing" and show great kindness to the children.



The report read: "The manager is extremely focused on ensuring that children are at the heart of everything they do and that they are the "beat that runs through the nursery". "Staff show an excellent commitment and dedication to making a difference in supporting children and their families. They are extremely reflective and are constantly seeking ways to improve and grow as a setting.

" The report also noted that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported extremely well. Ofsted said that staff receive support f.
