From Australia to America and France, dozens of artists will be travelling across the world to perform at a popular music festival in Bolton next month. Right to Roam will be back in Bolton for the fourth time on Friday, July 5 and Saturday, July 6 with 105 artists set to entertain audiences across the town on seven stages. Ivan Crompton, headteacher at Bolton Lads and Girls Club, his wife Julie Crompton, who runs Bolton’s Rock-It and Paul Welch, one of the event directors, organise the festival.
Music lovers will be treated to headline acts including EMF, The Chameleons, The Lovely Eggs and more. There will also be a host of local artists including Will Edgar, who starred in The Voice Kids. “There will 105 original artists with some even travelling from America and France and even Australia. Artists range from ages eight up to 80, with lots of national and international acts mixed with local artists and young bands. “The weekend will cost attendees £15, and this covers the entire weekend, and this is all non-for-profit.
