A borough man has been banned from the roads after failing to provide a blood specimen to police. Usman Iqbal was suspected of committing a motoring offence in Bolton in March this year. As a result the 30-year-old was required to provide a specimen of blood to be tested.

However he refused to do so without reasonable excuse. Following this he was banned from the roads for a year.



Iqbal, of Plodder Lane, Farnworth , was also fined £120 with the court taking his guilty plea into account when determining the sentence which it would impose..
