An appeal has launched after plans for houses on a former golf range in Bolton were once again rejected earlier this year. Multiple efforts have been made to build homes at the Kearsley Golfing Range. Earlier this year applicants Michael and Wendy Warburton launched plans to build seven houses at the spot near Moss Lane.
The proposal would have involved the demolition of the golf range. In a statement they said they had a balanced approach which would make a “positive contribution to the local community.” They said: “The proposed development represents a balanced approach that considers the special circumstances surrounding the closure of the golf driving range and the evolving needs of the community.
