The Enniskillen man plays Superintendent Ted Hastings in the BBC police drama for over a decade but has previously admitted that he and all of his castmates want to return for a seventh series. Created by Jed Mercurio, the show last appeared on screens in May 2021 with Ted Hastings and his team uncovering the identity of the 'Fourth Man' and derailing corruption from within the force.
