Alipayo made headlines in May after a video of him and Liaging interacting at a bar went viral on social media.
At some points, the video showed the surfer leaning his head close to the latter and holding her waist. This led Eigenmann to show her dismay toward Liaging for “intentionally” editing the video for “some social media attention.” Weeks later, Alipayo briefly addressed in a “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” interview aired on Monday, June 10, that while he freely interacts with people at bars, he knows where his boundaries lie.
