Kerry Katona has opened up on her relationship with ex-husband Brian McFadden. The Atomic Kitten singer and former Westlife member were married for four years and have two children together — Molly, 22, and Lilly-Sue, 21. Kerry is also mother to Heidi and Max, whom she shares with Mark Croft, and youngest Dylan-Jorge who she shares with the late George Kay.

Writing in her OK! column, Kerry expressed her admiration for Rod Stewart and his ex-wife Rachel Hunter after Rod’s wife Penny Lancaster shared a picture alongside Rachel. ‘He’s amazing,’ she said of Rod, adding: ‘Seeing Penny and Rachel together makes me feel sad that me and my exes have never been able to come together for the kids. ‘It’s a shame, really, because I would have liked to have that kind of relationship with my first husband for the kids.

’ Last month, it was announced that Lilly-Sue was making the move to Ireland as she embarks on a ‘fresh start.’ The influencer is set to live with Brian’s parents, with Kerry supportive of the decision and noting it will be a ‘good thing.’ The singer said: ‘Lilly is looking for a fresh start and has decided to move over to Ireland to live with her grandparents on her dad’s side.

‘I think it’s a good thing.’ Lilly follows in the footsteps of her older sister Molly, who has made the move to Ireland. Following her move, Molly has graduated from the LIR Academy with a diploma in acting and theatre studies.
