Hairy Bikers: Si King makes career announcement Hairy Bikers star Si King is getting set for his first solo project following the death of Dave Myers . The pair presented cookery shows together for twenty years as The Hairy Bikers and were friends since the 90s. Now Si is striking out on his own and will be appearing at the BBC Good Food Show Summer this coming weekend.
He announced the news to the Hairy Bikers 394,000 Instagram followers. In a simple video which saw him standing outdoors and talking to camera, he gave all the details of the event, which is taking place in NEC Birmingham. "I just want to let you know that the Good Food Summer Show is here and guess what – I’m on.
"On Sunday 16 June I’m gonna be cooking live on and in the big kitchen," he said excitedly. "It’s a brilliant day out with plenty of producers so you can go shopping and loads to choose from. "Loads of summer cooking information which is why I’m here.
Oh and plus you get entry to the BBC Gardner’s Live show as well so there’s literally something for everybody. I’ll see you there. I’m really looking forward to it.
