A brand new £10m care home has opened in a town just outside York. Haxby Hall in Haxby has welcomed its first residents after work has been completed on the development. Situated in the centre of Haxby on York Road, four miles north of the city centre, Haxby Hall offers 63 en-suite bedrooms alongside what the developers say are “first-class amenities.
” The scheme has been brought forward by Brough headquartered Yorkare, which now has 12 homes in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, with five more currently under construction. This latest development was built by Hull-based construction firm, Hobson & Porter. It is the eighth project the company has completed for Yorkare since 2015.
Haxby Hall’s facilities include an in-house bar, standard dining rooms, full beauty salon and hairdressing suite, cinema and outdoor terraces on each floor. There are also large gardens and a bowling green.
