We’d expect supermodels to age better than the rest of us mere mortals, but looking good at nearly 60 surely isn’t fair, we thought when we first saw these new images of . Yasmin, who has been modelling for almost four decades, will celebrate her milestone birthday in October – not that you’d ever have guessed from the toned figure, glossy hair and smooth, glowing complexion that has her easily passing as at least 10 years younger. It’s something she attributes to a balanced lifestyle and a positive mindset.

“Growing older happens – fact. But feeling ageless is a state of mind,” she says. “I don’t think I care as much about what people think about me.



I now realise that the world does not revolve around me, and I like that. I like being able to stand back and have some perspective on life. “I also think that I have become so much funnier.

I obviously spend way too much time with my family. But honestly, I laugh all the time.” The family she is referring to is, of course, her husband of 39 years, Duran Duran singer Simon Le Bon, 65, the couple’s daughters, Amber, 34, Saffron, 32, and Tallulah, 29, and two grandchildren.
