I have been admitted into hospital with an underlying infection,’ she wrote. An apologetic Amelia continued: ‘I am so sorry that I won’t be able to perform tomorrow evening. I love performing and am absolutely gutted I can’t be there tomorrow but I know I’m in the best place.

’ A follow-up post revealed why she had been taken ill in the first place – being a kidney infection relating to an untreated UTI. ‘I was discharged last night and am back home, have to go back in the morning for some blood but I am on the mend.
