The collar, according to Wrexham's website, is a "throwback to older Wrexham shirts, as we approach the 160th anniversary of the Club’s foundation." However, it's the dragon scale's that has caught the attention of fans on social media. "Beautiful.

An absolute classic with a nod to 1978," one fan gushed. While a second said: "Nothing special! Just a classic red home kit with neat white collar & small details..

." "Fair play. It's beautiful," a third admitted as others fumed over the £60 price point.

One said: "£60 is an absolute joke" and another chimed in "£60 for home shirt that looks the same as last years." Last year's kit was £59.80 with postage.

This year as the club do battle in League One it's now £64.85 with P&P. And another added: "Next year, please give us golden dragon scales, it would looks soo much better.

.." However a gold kit is expected to be launched in the next few days.
