Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard lost to Lorenzo Musetti in the fourth round at Wimbledon (Image: Getty) Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard's incredible run at Wimbledon came to a crushing end as he ran out of steam in the fourth round. Mpetshi Perricard, who stands at 6ft 8" tall, is a serving supremo and entered the men's singles draw as a lucky loser. But he was beaten 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, 6-2 by Italian Lorenzo Musetti on Court 2 on Monday afternoon.

The 21-year-old lost to Maxime Janvier in the final round of qualifying and had to wait for a dropout to enter the draw. Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina pulled up injured before his first-round clash and Perricard was handed the daunting task of taking on No.20 seed Sebastian Korda.
