Manchester City take on Manchester United in a fiery derby for the FA Cup final, but the kick-off time has changed. Rumours are circulating that it could be United boss Erik ten Hag's final game in charge of the Red Devils - and if that proves the case he would love to lift silverware as his departing act. Pep Guardiola, on the other hand, will be aiming to secure his second piece of silverware this season, after winning his fourth consecutive Premier League title last weekend.

The FA Cup final between Manchester United and Manchester City is kicking off at a changed time of 3pm , on police advice. The Football Association confirmed the change, with kick-off initially pencilled in for 5.30pm.



The decision was agreed with the clubs, local authority, members of the safety advisory group and broadcasters. The same decision was made last year, with crowd trouble being cited as one of the main reasons for changing kick-off time. The previous 10 years or so saw a later kick-off time taking place.

Since 2012, it had been an evening event with the earliest final before last year's taking place at 4.45p.m.

However, the police concerns led to the FA changing the time. Fans of either side have even been advised to use different roads to avoid cla.
