The bird's nest soup is made from the edible nest of a bird species called swiftlets, which can only be found in Southeast and East Asia. For people in China, it is also a gifting option during their lunar new years, amongst the wealthy, as this saliva soup comes with a hefty price tag . Bird's nest is not a new thing, but it has now reached almost all parts of the world, and its popularity is spreading in the beauty community thanks to Instagram Reels and influencers.
