Thomas Jacobs is hoping wife Becca Kufrin will accept his latest proposal. Though the two have been legally married since their October 2023 courthouse vows, "We do still want to have a wedding eventually, with all of our friends and family involved," the former Bachelorette acknowledged in an exclusive interview with E! News, "it's just we haven't had time to sit down and actually plan that yet." Or at least plan it again .
Because the couple— who connected during the seventh season of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021—had actually begun their journey to the altar when they encountered a dramatic twist. Months after the real estate broker, 32, answered Becca's May 2022 proposal with one of his own , the San Diego-based duo revealed they were expecting now-9-month-old son Benny "and then obviously had to backtrack," Becca explained of the original nuptials. She had told E! at the time they intended to "keep it very small, very intimate," possibly an elopement in nearby Ojai, but now , said the former publicist, "Thomas is envisioning something different and bigger.
" And Becca is down to indulge that particular fantasy. "We will do it, I know it's going to happen," she said. "It's just a matter of when.
Our focus right now is on Benny ." And potentially his younger brother or sister. The couple were barely home from the hospital when Thomas asked if he could steal his bride for a sec.
"Thomas wanted another baby the second we brought Benny home," admitted the Minnesota native. .
