Alcohol-free drinks and events are becoming more and more popular and now a major sober festival is coming to Emborough. The first-ever Dryy Fest on Saturday, June 22 – organised by the team behind the free Dryy app – promises an alcohol-free day of music, food and drinks as well as children’s activities and relaxation in the Mendip hills. The event takes place at Manor Farm in Emborough on Saturday, June 22 and kids under 15 are free.
Dryy Fest is part of a series of events that take place around the UK through the Dryy app – a growing alcohol-free community run by leading UK sobriety coaches Matt Pink and Andy Ramage. Matt knows from painful experience the unhealthy grip alcohol can take on a person’s life. He has previously said: “In April 2013, my life changed forever when my four-and-a-half-month-old son Rocco died in his sleep.
