And the celebrity chef, 54, has been ever so grateful to have her supportive wife Nell, 48, by her side. The couple married in 2019, two years after same-sex marriage was legalised in Australia, following the pair's engagement on Nell's 40th birthday in 2015.

Kylie met her artist wife in 2004, but didn't officially start dating until two years later. 'In 2006, she sent me an email asking, "Do you want to catch up? I think the universe wants us to be friends",' Kylie told the Sydney Morning Herald in 2019. The following week, I invited her to my house for dinner. A week later, she moved in.' It wasn't long before Kylie and Nell started trying for a baby.

The happy couple were 'overjoyed' when Nell fell pregnant in 2011 through a donor. She was due to give birth in August 2012, but her waters broke abruptly four months earlier one Friday evening.
