The search has resumed for a British teenager who has gone missing while on holiday in Tenerife. Jay Slater's mum has said having to search for her 19-year-old son, who was on his first holiday with friends, has been "horrendous"..
The teenager, from Lancashire, was last heard from on Monday morning as he told a friend he planned to walk back to his accommodation after missing a bus, a journey expected to take around 11 hours on foot. He phoned a friend saying he was lost and only had a small charge on the phone. His last location showing as the Rural de Teno park - a mountainous area popular with hikers.
