In 2022, art director shared “JiU,” a virtual human designed to fit Jang showed the virtual human in still photos and videos, all uploaded under his account. This girl has been redesigned as a personal project character in consideration of K-POP IDOL Virtual Human. I produced her with the concept of one of the beautiful girl group’s member that can be loved by the public rather than a completely realistic face.
For facial animation, Epic’s Metahuman base mesh was used on a newly created face with Zwrap, and everything else was newly produced. The current image was rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 4 with Real-Time Rendering. Her body is also modeled to control in real time and now I’m trying to see her whole figure to move in Unreal Engine soon.
