A US warship renowed for its size and ability to provide maritime support to ground forces has arrived in Denmark, in an unusual showcase of US military force as it stops at the Scandivanian country for fuel and resupply. The USS Wasp , an amphibious assault ship, have pulled into the waters near Skagen, a city "not used to hosting US Navy warships," for a refueling and resupply on Wednesday. Skagen was the warship's first port since its arrval at the US 6th Fleet of Operations in the North Sea, the US Navy said in a press release on Thursday.
