The UK is end to end with gorgeous scenery and one location in particular has been hailed as the most 'beautiful boardwalk' in the country. Travel enthusiast Alison Finlayson posted a video on TikTok following recent visit to Hafren Forest in Wales with her husband. The forest in Mid Wales is named after Afon Hafren, which is the Welsh name for the River Severn.

The UK-based doctor, who has 14,400 followers and regularly shares clips of her travels across the world , pinned a 15-second video alongside the caption: "Hafren Forest is a must if you ever visit Wales. The walk along the boardwalk is simply mesmerising." The stunning video starts with a smiley Alison, wearing a red coat and shades, strolling on the boardwalk.

The view then cuts to a series of drone footage speeding down the trail showing the forest's lush green trees and river flowing along the walk. "This is the most beautiful boardwalk in the UK," and "Pet friendly and wheelchair accessible," appear over the video, accompanied by an ethereal soundtrack. The forest has a number of walks of varying lengths and difficulties, according to Natural Resources Wales , including Cascades Walk - the one taken by Alison.

The longest route takes you all the way to the source of the Severn, a peat bog on the slopes of Pumlumon - Mid Wales’ tallest mountain - and just outside the forest’s boundary. While the shorter trails go to waterfalls inside the forest, including the popular Severn-Break-its-Neck. If you fancy steppin.
