TYRSE Haliburton trolled two generations of New York Knicks fans after inspiring a 130-109 rout. The Indiana Pacers superstar was heckled at Madison Square Garden as he fought for a place in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. He responded with 26 points, six assists and four rebounds as the Knicks crashed out.

“You like that s–t?” Haliburton , 24, yelled to the fan at one point after a 3-pointer. Knicks supporter Spike Lee infamously riled up Reggie Miller nearly 30 years ago leading to a famous choking pose. And Haliburton wore a hoodie with the iconic photo printed on the front to his press conference.

“He was just talking before the game,” Haliburton said of the courtside fan. “It seemed like whoever was sitting in that seat all series had something to say to me. "So once I got going, I knew I was going to pick somebody today to get me going and it just happened to be him.

“It just got me going in the first quarter, and we just continued on. "But I think that’s the game within the game, the fun that is this environment.” Back in the day, the Knicks recovered to win the final two games of the series and reach the Finals.

But there is no chance for redemption this time around. "But I mean, I’m just wearing a hoodie," Haliburton added. "I like to be comfy on the plane.

“I got this hoodie like two days ago; so I appreciate whoever gave it to me.” Pacers fans were delighted with Haliburton's cheeky attire. "Tyrese Haliburton is a savage for this," posted.
