The best and worst holiday parks in the UK have been announced, with Forest Holidays, who have two locations in Wales coming in second place. The brand received an 80% customer score on a recent survey by Which? Travel and with two stunning Welsh parks it's clear to see why. The first of which is located at the very heart of Snowdonia National Park, while the second is in the Brecon Beacons.
The Snowdonia site has amazing views of the mountain, and plenty of activities for all the family, whether you want to have a holiday adventure, or would prefer to relax during your getaway. Activities available include a forest survival experience, abseiling, and guided scrambling. Bikes are also available to hire at the park, with a guided bike ride of Snowdonia also available.
And for those looking for a more relaxing holiday, there's a hot tub in every cabin, and spa treatments can be booked in advance, or while you're there. There's also the Pant Du vineyard nearby where you can go for some wine-tasting. Forest Holiday's Brecon Beacons location is equally as stunning and has similar amenities, including a hot tub in every cabin.
But one major difference is the chance to stay in a tree house, with gorgeous views of the surroundings. Happy holiday-goers have left glowing reviews on the websites for these parks, with one writing: "Everything from arrival, staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was brilliant and worth the money.
Even paying the £3 for delivery was worth it though .
