Gardening expert Monty Don has shared which two flowers you should cut back now to ensure great blooms next year. However, alongside this, gardeners will also need to be thinking ahead to next year's bloom too.

If you have tulips in your garden you are likely to have been treated to a stunning display already this year. This is because they typically bloom from March to April, although some varieties are a little later. Monty says if you have tulips growing in your borders then you should "deadhead" them once they have past their best.
